in the Southeast Crescent Regional Commission (SCRC) area
The Southeast Crescent Regional Commission (SCRC) is currently accepting pre-applications for its
2025 State Economic and Infrastructure Development (SEID) Grant program. Pre-applications must be
submitted by May 27, 2025, to be considered for eligibility to submit a full application in July.
The program is open to local units of government, federally recognized Indian tribes and nonprofit
501© organizations. Grant size will range from $50,000 to $1 million (Mississippi's minimum and
maximum amounts have not yet been determined) and can be used for infrastructure improvements,
broadband expansion, transportation projects, workforce training programs, healthcare. access
initiatives, business development efforts, affordable housing solutions, and environmental
conservation projects. SEID will require a minimum of 20% match in local funds. If you are
interested in applying, we will need a cost estimate by Tuesday, May 20.
