Business Financing
East Central Planning and Development District (ECPDD) fosters economic development through a variety of business financing programs designed to help businesses grow and create jobs. These programs are intended to work with, not replace, commercial financing and are often combined with private funding to complete a project.
ECPDD works directly with business clients to structure financing plans that meet both their needs and credit requirements. We can draw from one or more programs to develop a plan that fits your project.
A grant from the U.S. Economic Development Administration (EDA) initially established a Revolving Loan Fund (RLF) serving the District’s nine counties. This fund, along with contributions from local counties, allows us to provide loans that support business development. In addition to the EDA fund, ECPDD can also make loans from these additional funding sources:
Mississippi Small Business Assistance Program
Mississippi Minority Business Enterprise Program
Mississippi Minority Business Enterprise (Micro)
Rural Business Enterprise Grant
Appalachian Regional Commission (Kemper County only)
Important Note: Interest rates are subject to change without notice.
Each program has specific eligibility criteria and conditions. The consolidated loan application gathers the information needed to assess the credit needs of your business and identify the best financing program(s).
